As per the other post, I have one and the adverts are just a screen saver, so hardly make any difference, they don't appear when you are reading.

EXACTLY!, lol + the 50's were also wayyyyyy before the whirlwind that is technically the Digital Highway ... so in the fullness of time, a much less need for the physical paperwork of anything really? (unfortunately), even our good old Libraries have inevitably suffered a similar fate in due course ...
But yeh, due to such things as that of your above, such stuff's are blatantly due to resurrect themselves from the ashes every once in a while? (which of course is good for consumer's like ourselves). :-)
