It's hard to explain to someone who doesn't own one but the portability of the switch and different ways to play is an absolute game changer.

Me? Yes. Certainly. If I had the spare cash. I've got it on the Wii U so it doesn't matter if I don't have a Switch. It's really rekindled my love for gaming. I've not been this involved in a single player game in years. It's a remarkable world and an enthralling experience

depends on circumstances, i don't get to go on console much, it's under TV, and i cant really take over that in the evening. Switch has been a godsend, can just crash on bed and play. I've played about 40 hours of Zelda, on my wiiu would have been 5-10 max. i think its a brilliant bit of kit......70 games in development and lots of RPGs

Yeah, I've been eyeing this offer for a while... I'm going to buy the season pass at some point, it's just a matter of when and how.

Would you buy the switch just to play Zelda? Or is it not worth it?

It depends on the person, but only the die hards would really do that. If you already have a Wii U then the switch version isn't going to be that different. Personally I'm waiting for more games to come and hoping the price drops later in the year.

I mean.. The Switch literally only has 2 games worth playing right now that are original to the system past the Wiiu, Snipperclips, and Zelda. It depends entirely on how big of a fan you are of the series, and how much disposal income you have. Personally I bought a Wiiu ages ago and Zelda is completely the same on the Wiiu as on the Switch.

I'm an Xbox gamer, have been for years. Last Nintendo console I owned was the Gamecube.
Got the Switch with Zelda last week. No regrets.

I'd say yes, based on my own experience (thus far). Visit any reputable videogame review website if you don't take my word for it.
Besides, said Switch investment will not just be for Zelda alone. Many games are already announced due this year, retail, indie and the like.

I've never been a Zelda fan or a big Nintendo apart from n64 when I was kid. I'm so glad I got Zelda it's just so fun to play.. being a new dad as well it's a great pick up n play and put down and carry on later.
I'd recommend the game for switch but get for Wii U version if you have one already.

It's such a good game you have to play it somehow. If you don't have a Wii U then yes, maybe? Though buying a cheap Wii U would be a more sensible option if you're just going to play at home because that has a ton of fantastic exclusive games and the only exclusive for now that the Switch has is Snipperclips. If you do have a Wii U, just get it on that because it's identical.

I'd wait, I have a switch and it's a decent device.
If you really want to play Zelda on the move, get the Switch.
If you're happy playing it on a TV, Wii U is fine.

Yes. Nintendo not only made possibly the best game ever, they also made a new handheld console so you can play it anywhere. That combination is really an incredible achievement if you ask me. The quality and attention to detail in Zelda is just amazing. Not only that but it is absolutely massive.
