The A35 has support for LDAC where'as the 15 A doesn't.

Takes a 200gb Microsdxc though so capacity is no problem.
Battery life is measured in days......love mine.

Do these go louder than a Samsung s6 phone. I have paid 190 for bose headphones that I love. But I don't think my phone is best for them. many thanks.

How loud do you think you need a personal media player and a pair of headphones to go? By the way I don't know what pair of Bose headphones you are using but on my QC15's you can pull the cable out from the headpiece and slide the switch from 'Lo' to 'Hi' volume level. Perhaps you have a pair that is set on 'Lo' and you haven't realised? But seriously, loud volumes aren't so great for your ears, either in the short or long term.

Do high res audio players sound a lot better than CD? Also where do you purchase your music in high res from? I've been transfering CDs to iTunes for years.

Yes, high Res audio sounds better than cd...If played through appropriate system. Many places to purchase, try here. http://www.hdtracks.co.uk
What bitrate do you "transfer" your CDs into iTunes? If not lossless then i would suggest reripping

It's debatable. Most people can't even distinguish between 320kbps MP3 and CD quality and those who can need to really concentrate on the music to notice.

Great DAC for the price and the battery life is excellent.
