Russell Hobbs Chester grind and brew coffee maker only £32.79 at argos.
Make coffee from fresh beans or use pre ground coffee.

No idea how good this machine is but the few reviews it has are good.
It is £69.99 on Robert Dyas, £50 at asda and groupon so it seems like a decent deal to me.

looks good so have heat - noticed it only keeps coffee warm for 40 minutes, this seems to be standard as my last machine was the same - i do prefer where it keeps the plate hot until you turn it off, as I like to keep it on for a few hours.

Perhaps you were making a joke and I am falling into your trap...... but.. manufacturers selling to the EU are no longer allowed to sell coffee machines that have a manual power switch control, they must all be fitted with a digital timer switch programmed to turn the machine off within a specific amount of time, perhaps 40 minutes like you say.
The EU powers say it was wasting vast amounts of electricity from people such as yourself who liked to leave the machine on for extended periods of time...

This. This is why filter coffee is so often seen as crap, because it's so often served after sitting for too long.

I've had one of these for about a year and I love it, love that I can buy all types of coffee (whole bean or ground) and it works perfectly!

Some reviews say it’s not a burr grinder but chops the coffee beans
