Only 30 day warranty but prices are not falling for externals due to high demand so I've took the risk and ordered one. Hope this helps others looking for similar :smiley:

I ordered and found it has blue drive. I have put that on QNAP NAS drive. Not sure if I should have put Red one rather than blue

I requested that they email me when back in stock but they didn't, I just happened to check earlier. Hope I've made the right choice anyway, never had any trouble with WD drives (unlike Seagate, had a couple fail on me), still using my 1TB WD external from about 8 years ago and another WD which is also fine

Ah yes I was going to go for that if the 6TB version wasn't avaialble. Just curious, if you enter the serial into the WD site and it says it still has say 18 months' warranty left, does that not still apply?
