They repeat this three times in the description, then the cock crowed, and they saw Hbm1, hbm2 and gddr5x . Good price tho ..

I know, hence why I mentioned them. Same Polaris based GPU, some tweaks to clocks and RAM speed. The comment was intended to explain why the price is falling.
Edit The 480 seems to have increased by £4 :disappointed:

That seems like a hell of a good price considering the price of some of the RX 460's. Very tempted for a serious upgrade from my aging 6850!
This 470 also comes with a backplate (according to the pictures on newegg) unlike a lot of the other deals around.

Great deal. Personally I would gamble and wait to see if the 400 series cards go cheap once the 500 series is out, but that's just me being tight

Hexus published a review of that 480, and they reckon it's very noisy compared with the opposition
They do say something about altering the fan profile, but I dunno about that stuff!
I can't find a detailed review of the Red Dragon 470. Apparently this is the original 2 fan version which was replaced on sale by a single fan V2 version. I would like to see some temperature and noise data before deciding whether or not to buy one.
