I remember some of the missions being ridiculously tough, especially since I was determined to never lose a man, and kept reloading to keep them.

The ice ones were tough as the little dudes would slide all over the place...

The code for Round the Garden is WYNYB - it was seared into my memory from trying to perfect that level .

Became quite attached to them! Especially when they got me so far, if any died, had to restart, couldn't lose jules!

Great game.
I used to get stuck on a level where a troop had to do quite a bit of swimming. Bought the playing guide at the time. Apparently I was doing the right thing in the level but my men still kept getting killed.
It is possible to get Cannon Fodder 1 and 2 for £2.98 (option on the web page)
Is the speed of play adjustable for the modern PC? Past reviewers have written it runs too fast compared to the Amiga/Atari ST versions.

That, and it's where you started getting enemies with rocket launchers, whose range always seemed to be one pixel longer than you could see on-screen.:disappointed:
Opening post
Seriously, war has never been so much fun.
Good old Jools, Jops and Stoo. True heroes.
