It was the same for me with Syndicate. Always reloading when a death occurs. "SELECTED"<3

I remember some of the missions being ridiculously tough, especially since I was determined to never lose a man, and kept reloading to keep them.

The ice ones were tough as the little dudes would slide all over the place...

The code for Round the Garden is WYNYB - it was seared into my memory from trying to perfect that level .

Became quite attached to them! Especially when they got me so far, if any died, had to restart, couldn't lose jules!

Guessing they've removed the need to enter a specific word from a page and line in the manual in order to play the game?

What an amazing game this was, and still is.
My kids will be brought up on these titles (when they're old enough of course).
None of the rubbish you get today on iPhones & iPads.

yeah, Champ manager was a time eater... uncovering that next superstar... I seem to remember in sensible world of soccer and champ manager always wanting Paul Warhurst in my team as in both he was listed down as Defender, Midfield and Striker.... He is not a name you hear mentioned much... footballing legend to me! ha.

Oh ****, yes! I actually remember that.
Sensible Soccer was just amazing. Me and the lads used to sit round at mine after school playing SWOS. The achievement of getting to become the England manager just can't be replicated. Between that and Championship Manager lay a lot of my childhood.

Oh, was the black and white picture a special touch? All my games were played in black and white unfortunately.
That, and it's where you started getting enemies with rocket launchers, whose range always seemed to be one pixel longer than you could see on-screen.:disappointed:

Great game.
I used to get stuck on a level where a troop had to do quite a bit of swimming. Bought the playing guide at the time. Apparently I was doing the right thing in the level but my men still kept getting killed.
It is possible to get Cannon Fodder 1 and 2 for £2.98 (option on the web page)
Is the speed of play adjustable for the modern PC? Past reviewers have written it runs too fast compared to the Amiga/Atari ST versions.

I think that was a Xmas cover disk too...
I could be confused though.
Especially the extra effort given to the festive music... I miss cover discs...
