I'm surprised - my meat experience @ Morrisons has been excellent - they are the best supermarket butcher out of the big 4
The Lidl 21/ 30 day matured beef is pretty good as well and when you find the 30% off packs, you can get fantastic value for money. I remember seeing some scrums at Asda when they were marking down groceries! Well, with Lidl discounted meat it's a totally different experience - I go about 08.30 and have the pick of the 30% offs, I could fill the freezer every week if I ewanted to, plus they have a policy of sticking on the 30% off labels about 2 days before the sell by date so it's perfectly fresh.

Picture of delicious steaks to even out the unnecessary amount of vegetables in a steak thread

Last time I got Rump Steak from Morrisons I needed a power saw to cut it, won't be going there again.

If anyone tells you any store can guarantee every piece of meat they sell is lovely they're lying. Each cow is different, simple as that.

Not a huge fan of Morrisons but think their steak / meat selection in general is pretty good. Heat added, but not too much as I like my steak fairly rare. Keep an eye out for 'Beef skirt' there too, usually quite chep. Most suggestions for its use are for slow cooking as in this country it seems to be viewed as a tough cut and only suitable for slow cooking, but my Brazilian wife showed me that flash frying it with a touch of seasoning makes it turn out great, ideal for fajitas. It's all down to how to you cut it up.

It's very close to the bavette steak sold in France for frying. It's cheap, and really good. Makes super steak sandwiches.
