I hate to be 'that guy' but as someone who owns both an iPhone 6 and a 5s (the latter is a work phone) this phone will probably be obsolete come September/October when the new version of iOS comes out.
Even today the 5s is much slower than it should be with the latest version of iOS installed, and the 16 gig memory is severely limiting. I mean severally. You'll likely fill it up with a few dozen music albums and a couple of months worth of photos.
You'd be slightly foolish to spend £200 on this really.

Why are people so closed-minded? People *want iPhones*. I'm sure that really annoys a lot of people on here - people love to spend their time worrying what's on other people's plates, don't they.
I have two relatives in need of an iPhone upgrade. I have first-hand experience of a 5S recently and they still run great.
NO, A ULEFONE, MOTOROLA OR SAMSUNG GALAXY FLEUR FOR 50P WILL NOT DO - these people like to FaceTime family abroad, Airdrop-share photos to each other and use iMessage. Sure, they could entirely change their ways and migrate everything to a different app or service just so they can satisfy people by buying an Android but you know what? They don't want to - they like using their old iPhones.
Clearly these iPhone buying people are complete idiots who should have their right to vote revoked, but you know what - it's their choice. It's funny how people like to project their phone usage, wants and needs on other people as if their experience is a common trend among all sections of society. Not everyone downloads a lot of games or even takes a lot of photos. A lot of people still store next to nothing on their phones. For those people, 16GB is actually quite a lot.
For the record I run Android devices - I have an S7 Edge and a Lenovo P2 at the moment. I prefer many things about Android but I can at least acknowledge that to some people 16GB of storage an iOS-toting 5S are an absolutely fine fit for £200 - and it is no one's right to tell them otherwise, much as it might induce anger in people who spend more time worrying about other people than themselves.

Is this even usable anymore? I know it's cheap for an iPhone but surely it would be slow to run the latest iOS?

These work very well with the latest iOS 10.2. It's 64 bit , and it's not far short of the iPhone SE in terms of performance. Excellent VFM at £199 when you consider the build and finish.

No performance issues whatsoever. Also I think mine is indestructible it's even been run over by a vehicle and still not broken. I kinda want a new phone to be honest I've had it years!
