these prices will come down by another £30-40 when Ti hit the market. so wait till then. atm retailers not drop the price properly. Anyway not Voted hot or cold. OcUK & Scan is always expensive for VGA cards.

Question is what is the 1070 going to end up at? I also wonder if the 1080 will end up a bit out of place like the 980 did.

yeah pretty much 1070 will rule the 270-300 range and 1080ti will rule the 500-600 range while the 1080 sits around 450 range. Most people will be on either end of the spectrum.

I really want a new card but I only really play CS at the moment, so cant justify moving from 970..

Bought this on the £529.99 offer a while back. Worst coil whine I've ever heard on an electronics product. Sent it back the next day after reading a ton of reviews about the G1 Gaming / Windforce being overly loud with coil whine. I probably won't buy Gigabyte again. Gonna grab an aftermarket 1080 Ti in a couple of months.

Add into this the AMD 570,580, Vega 11 and Vega 10. I think that then Vega 10 will muddy the water at 475-525 range. Not sure when to jump, but I will wait until the faster memory filters through.

Part of me is upset this card is dropping in price as I bought my one in January for £535, but hay not going to cry over £36 (and yes I know everyone was saying wait for 1080TI… but I am inpatient), Part of me wants it to drop more so I can buy a second for SLI.:sunglasses:

I paid £690 for my EVGA GTX 1080 FTW but had it a while now so i guess I'll take a hit of £350. It's convenient that the launch of the TI is after the 6 months when you can send it in and get a TI from the factory for a modest price / Upgrade.

I myself am waiting because they will drop more. Loads of different 1080's and 1070's reduced.
