Is it worth that much hassle for a tenner? I know this site is all about saving money but I value my time more than that

I think you have to know what you are getting. If you are complaining about battery life, you are thinking about the wrong product. If you are thinking about the motorised brush, you are looking at the wrong product. This particular model is specifically intended for hard floors, which is what the 'fluffy' bit is all about.
I don't know about you buy I can get along way around a wooden or tiled floor in 10 minutes, especially not having to worry about cables. Moreover, if you are doing a proper clean, hard floors will need a quick vaccuum and then a mop - you don't need the in-depth vacuum needed with carpets.

Awesome product, was able to trial's my cousins for a few months.
This one new with 2 year warranty compared with refurb on Dyson Outlet on Ebay with 1 year warranty costing £40 more... no brainer..

Yes, thr running timr is short, but its only designed for small jobs, not for hoovering your entire house.
