Thanks for posting. I edited the thread assumping it was 6 for £1 but you've edited saying they are 16p each, so if these are 16p each why are they not charging 96p for 6?

For the same reason you would use Oral-b, Colgate, etc. You are assuming the toothpaste is not good because, just a guess here, it's cheaper compared to other brands or you are not familiar with the name/brand?
Crest is made by the same American company that makes Pampers diapers, Head & shoulder shampoo. I think they also make Gillette, Braun and Oral-b, and these products are sold all over the world.
I think the problem here is that they have not invested in advertising as others big brands to brainwash people.
