£3.10 diced stewing beef
£1.00 approx sausages
Total £9.37 approx
that leaves £0.63 for 800g boneless pork shoulder joint << not going to happen

Obviously I can't speak for every store but I work on the butcher's counter at Morrisons and I think we have excellent quality meat. I always buy my meat from there, I look at some of the prepackaged meat other supermarkets are selling sometimes and I'd be ashamed if I'd prepared it. I have the advantage of knowing exactly what I've prepared of course, but it's usually quite obvious whether the person behind the counter knows their stuff or not and we should be happy to help.

Oh and for the record the packs are good value, but they're a pain in the a*se to make up so damn you for bringing them to attention tc :-p

Priced it all up and individually, it would be around £5 more.

Yes your diced beef alone is £4.15, boneless pork joint around £3, and 4 pork loin steaks are £3.29. So basically you're paying for those and get the sausages and minced beef for free. Even buying using the 3 for £10 deal you've still got to buy the remaining 2 items, therefore spending more than £10.
