Excellent price for a 4K monitor, also has 1 ms response time. Good find OP:p
But it's TN not IPS, so not the same colour reproduction - I'm out

It's the viewing angles / colour shift that kills TN panels for me

4K without IPS seems a bit pointles...
My Acer S236HL just broke after 3 and a half a years, anyone got any good recommendations for a 23-27inch IPS glossy screen monitor?

TN or not, I think this is a decent deal. If colour is important, go IPS, but if not, TN is usually fine for most people. I can't imagine many people not sitting in front of their screen while they're using it, so viewing angles aren't going to be an issue?
I'm tempted with this deal. thanks OP!

Does not say what inputs it has? Whether hdmi 2.0, or displayport . Description says full HD monitor not 4k or uhd.

This is a big monitor and even if the user sits in front of the monitor, the angle his eyes make with the monitor, on the edges are going to be different to the angle, head on. So, what you will find is the image/colour in the centre of the monitor (assuming you are sitting right in front of the monitor), will be different to that of the edges of the monitor.
When buying a bigger monitor, I would always opt for VA. Failing that, IPS. And lastly TN...unless this is a gaming monitor, in which case a good TN, gaming monitor would be best.

Usually yes, but I also use my monitor as my 'TV' to watch things online so it's still better for someone like me to buy an IPS.
Opening post
The monitor is currently on back order from Amazon and currently states despatched in 2-5 weeks.
