I'd personally avoid the physically damaged one, wouldn't like to trust my data to it. But the other one in warehouse sounds alright.

For the record I bought a 'Used - Good' hard drive from Amazon a few weeks ago which turned out to be brand new & sealed. Completely random their grading for warehouse items at times

For every one of these anecdotes there's 10 "like new in original packaging" that were not in original packaging and not in a condition fit for a respectable retailer to be selling.
