Just had an email from top cash back with 24 hour deal for 3. Basically 3 sim only 12 month contract, 8gb a month data, 600 minutes talk and unlimited texts. £12 a month less £60 top cash back. So works out at £7 a month after cash back.

Please do not take this deal based on cashback. I did this some months ago and mine was declined. By all means treat it as a bonus but not part of the deal.

Any reason in particular why it was declined?

Just declined. No explanation. I have in the past filed a claim with topcashback and quidco but unsuccessfully. It tracked and then 2 months later declined.

My experience is the opposite, had Quidco decline for no reason, have had TopCashback not track but upon reporting missing cashback always had it sorted promptly.

Don't seem to have much luck with either these days.

I took out a three contract through tcb and it didn't track, have put in claim, but not holding my breath... the one I took out through quidco paid out, I've never had any problems with quidco, but have had with tcb.

Having just put a claim for missing cashback with three through tcb, it has been put on ice until June, how did you get it sorted immediately?

Tracking correctly is nothing to do with TCB / Quidco. All tracking is done on the merchants side when you land on their site through a tracking cookie/pixel on the landing page.
If you follow the process correctly and don't have any cookie / privacy blocker to stop the tracking pixel loading and logging your visit and purchase you shouldn't really ever have issues with it tracking. Similarly don't have multiple windows of the site already open when you click through, as the merchant may deduplicate visits from other channels.
The merchant will have visibility on sales that come through via TCB/Quidco and those that don't. They then accept / decline cashback based on whether the transaction met their acceptance criteria (eg not cancelling/returning)

Did transaction on chrome, cleared everything first, tcb was the only window open and it still didn't track.
