Just had an email from top cash back with 24 hour deal for 3. Basically 3 sim only 12 month contract, 8gb a month data, 600 minutes talk and unlimited texts. £12 a month less £60 top cash back. So works out at £7 a month after cash back.

Please do not take this deal based on cashback. I did this some months ago and mine was declined. By all means treat it as a bonus but not part of the deal.

My cash back declined by 3 for no reason last year

Just declined. No explanation. I have in the past filed a claim with topcashback and quidco but unsuccessfully. It tracked and then 2 months later declined.

I also had cashback declined for no reason from a similar three deal a while back

My experience is the opposite, had Quidco decline for no reason, have had TopCashback not track but upon reporting missing cashback always had it sorted promptly.

Don't seem to have much luck with either these days.

I took out a three contract through tcb and it didn't track, have put in claim, but not holding my breath... the one I took out through quidco paid out, I've never had any problems with quidco, but have had with tcb.

Having just put a claim for missing cashback with three through tcb, it has been put on ice until June, how did you get it sorted immediately?

Tracking correctly is nothing to do with TCB / Quidco. All tracking is done on the merchants side when you land on their site through a tracking cookie/pixel on the landing page.
If you follow the process correctly and don't have any cookie / privacy blocker to stop the tracking pixel loading and logging your visit and purchase you shouldn't really ever have issues with it tracking. Similarly don't have multiple windows of the site already open when you click through, as the merchant may deduplicate visits from other channels.
The merchant will have visibility on sales that come through via TCB/Quidco and those that don't. They then accept / decline cashback based on whether the transaction met their acceptance criteria (eg not cancelling/returning)

Did transaction on chrome, cleared everything first, tcb was the only window open and it still didn't track.

Always a good practice to clear cookies if you have already visited so you should get a clean trackable path when going from Q or TCB

I always go incognito on chrome.
Open cashback site and login.
Click thru and order.
Retain screenshots of referral and deal.
Ordered this deal today so it's still on. TCB has tracked, but even if it doesn't pay out, it's still a pretty good tariff. I was with EE and they wouldn't offer me any sort of retention deal (wrong time of the month?) and before them I had been with 3. Just hoping coverage hasn't changed in a year!

Still on today, looks good - even before cashback.
Have any existing Three customers tried to take this out as a new contract and had the cashback track? I can only see in the terms you can't use a voucher code not listed by TCB, they don't say you can't be an existing customer(?)

This Cashback malarki is ironic really?, as (according to a few on here), these Cashback Sites NOT always do as to what's said on the tin?., hmmmmmmm.
Here's my 2 Cent's for what it's worth, I've never had any issues with top Cash Back, but I have with Quidco.
So, there you have it ...

Still going, 6 days left via Topcashback. Can't believe this isn't hot.
Looks like I didn't need to jump is so quickly for it, but glad I got it.

All you can be sure about with cashback sites is that you can't rely on either of them, especially when declination may the fault of the merchant.

does this include feel at home?

Surely this will not really matter in the near future, roaming charges will be gone within Europe in a couple of months. No doubt after Brexit we'll begin to get ripped off again for mobile charges, cars and other consumer goods just as we used to

Just checked but it says £15 a month which is £180 minus £60 will be £10 per month not £7. How did you get £12 per month?

it includes feel at home anyway, just checked. I'm already with three and out of contract but when i called them last week the would only give me 4GB for £12 to sign back in for 12 months. I'm gonna do this deal but need to look into keeping my number first.

I'd be grateful if you let me know how you get on. I'm still clumsily hobbling on paying the full 30 quid after they killed the One plan nearly a year ago, not sure why but need to get off ASAP!!

when i log into my account i get the fantastic offer of 4GB for £15pm, i'm going to call them and ask them to match this deal and if not ask for a PAC code and just resign up. probably won't get the cashback paid but it's better than what i'm on which is currently £11pm for 2GB

The retentions team wouldn't offer me anything near as good as this, so after 9 years I'm leaving them (taking current number to PAYG - 30 days notice to do this) and rejoining(!) on this deal. Will port my PAYG number to the new SIM/contract.

Voted hot because it should be a good deal even without the cashback but I don't think you're supposed to include the cashback in the final price, so really it is £12 x 12 = £144 then cashback after it, as the £144 is what you actually pay. I am looking to get onto Three as Vodafone have finally pushed me a bit too far this time.

Both my claims last year declined, but still with them as the unlimited data 600m talk time unlimited texts and roaming @ £25 a month is not to bad.....

Glad I'm not the only one! Last week my previous contract SIM/number went to PAYG, I used online chat the same day to ask them to move that number to my new contract SIM. Had to do it via online chat as they only have an online form if you're coming from another provider (with a PAC), however it was pretty straight forward and completed in under half a day.
