West Coast Mainline only? It doesn't say £4 is the minimum either. Can someone state which journey is best to do? As in buying tickets just for the points not to actually travel.

£10 admin fee to change the date of a ticket is outrageous. Virgin are a disgrace. This so called birthday sale doesn't in any way make up for their ripoff fares the rest of the time.

What is the cheapest just for the points - London to Birmingham - what dates? Thanks a lot.

I opted for a London to Birmingham child ticket for £2
It would probably work on a non-sale ticket but for the sake of a few pence this ticket will be easier to get the points added on live chat when they don't go on automatically

I got an email but it reads differently:
I'm not sure you have to buy a seat in the sale to qualify for the points
