Having just read the up to date reviews, I will give it a miss thanks.
I have this and the batteries charge in around 45 min. You get 2 batteries which last about 25 min each so that's 50 minutes usage time in total combining the 2. How long does it take you to vacuum your home ffs!!
As for not being able to use with a power cord, that's the blooming point, it's a CORDLESS vacuum cleaner. Honestly I give up

Mine arrived today and all seems good so far. Can confirm that the deal is for 1 x upright cordless hoover, 1 x handheld hoover, nozzle ends, 2 batteries, battery charger and user guides.

great deal.
I paid £99 just for the cleaner in the last vax clearance in Sept.
Great for my home that only needs a quick once over or to use cleaning the car, etc.

I paid £45 in Sainsburys recently for the handheld (with battery), so this is a very good price.
However the 2 batteries only go to extend the time on the larger cleaner (20+ minutes per battery) and not the power it has, which is fine for the handheld as a dustbuster, but I worry about the strength of the upright using only battery power.

Sounds like a great deal ,
Quick question it says ' 1 x Vax Air Cordless Handheld Vacuum Cleaner (no battery) '
Does that mean i would have to buy batteries for the Handheld Vacuum?
Thanks guys

The Air™ Cordless Handheld is super lightweight and easy to use so you can clean quickly and easily transport it from room to room or even out to the car. Although sold without batteries, it is powered by the same batteries provided with the Air Cordless Upright Vacuum.
