Sorry to be the xbox guy (not sorry at all) but the Xbox 360 Elite here for £38.92 after quidco looks pretty good too.

The drives on the Xbox Elites are terrible, I spent hours opening and closing the drive for the disc to read. (also an Xbox guy)

with the rrod and extended Warranties I owned 6 Xbox 360's and the only one that lasted and I still own is my elite, but it happens, some consoles worked perfectly, some barely worked at all.

I had to change the laser on mine after a year or so (about 6 quid from ebay). Has been fine ever since! I guess the original units weren't built to last long.

Surely worth paying the extra from cex and getting 2years warranty.....

Might be worth it just for all the ps plus games I've been collecting :smirk:

Exactly. Worth it for me just to have a demons souls and everybody's golf machine

After having owned a couple of OG 360s that red ringed I've now had my slim for years running strong. I think I'd recommend spending the extra to get a slim over the originals

great price for a great console. love using for now tv, bbc i player, youtube etc with the official remote control (cheap in cex)
Opening post
PS3 includes a Blu-Ray player so this price is a bargain in my opinion not to mention the amazing games that built for it.
