Works out at £202 for me including delivery.
There's a waiting time of 1-2 months but I can't see it taking that long.
Also note you need Amazon prime, but you can sign up to a free 30 day trial if you've never done it on the French site before.

For £202? Sounds good, where?
Also by your extended logic, why bother with a GTX 1070? Why not get a Titan XP?

Give me the £100 or so more required for it and I will.
Why do **** posters always seem to get the first comment and ruin the thread?

Simply click on the Prime button in Blue, and it will give you a 30 day free trial of Prime (even if you've had it on amazon.co.uk) you can use chrome to translate if you like. But be sure to cancel the trial as soon as you have it setup as otherwise you might get charged in a month.
Noob question, I'm running an old XPS desktop with an i7-3770 running @ 3.40Ghz and 12gb RAM, if I buy this and change my current graphics card would it make my PC passable at running games at a half-decent speed? I'm guessing not but would appreciate any advice. Many thanks.

well you're running an i7, pair it with this card and you will be playing almost every AAA on high-ultra setting with no problems at all...

definitely! don't know how fast your ram is but even then it won't hit performance that much, in my experience anything above 1600mhz is MORE than 'passable'
shame its a not a 3770k, then you could overclock it and get a couple more years of use out of that chip and board. but 3.4Ghz is still more than adequate. and new api's take better advantage of hardware and extra core [at least in theory] so you may not actually need extra frequency in the coming year or two

I've got this card with a i5 4670K and play BF1 on Ultra no problem, great card very quiet too.

Your biggest issue might be your PSU, if you are still using your OEM PSU, and space in the case. My PC is HP H9-1250ea (mid tower) and I have to angle the card 2 ways to get it in and out, so make sure you check the measurements and your PSU before you buy.

Yup you just need to make sure your PSU is good enough for what ever GPU you buy. Plus has a spare 8 pin power connector. I have a 600w PSU running 16GB RAM, i7 4790K and 2x RX 480s, M.2 SSD , 2x HDDs, Couple system fans. Never had any issues.

i have a rig with an i7 3770k not overclocked but on stock settings paired with a gtx 980 ti and its beast almost kills any game you throw at it i7 in any generation is good enough to play all AAA games

That's good to know. Mine's still all stock settings, I'll give this card a go I think.

I wouldn't quite say that, but the 3770K is still a very capable processor.
So you have a "rig" with an i7-3770K paired with a 980 Ti, but you never use it because you also have a PC with an i7-980..?
Quite apart from 'game-debate' being a joke of a site, I find your setup quite... fantastical.
Still, the oldest i7s have aged quite well, although those older architectures are starting to creak a bit. If they're not an overclocking model and you're a gamer, this year seems like a good year to upgrade. Wait for Ryzen to come out in four weeks and see what's best then.
