It's crazy that soundbars are now seen as essential because TV speakers are considered bad. I'm waiting for the day I need a second screen so that I don't have to watch the screen that came with the TV

TV speakers are bad now-a-days because everyone wants slim TV's. Therefore the speakers don't have any depth which is essential for good quality sound. Not sure why so many people want their TV's so slim. Unless it's hung on the wall, who cares if it's 1 inch deep or 4?

You are correct as lowest price by a third party retailer was £49.99 but I am not sure if that includes postage or not. It's quite rare that I would ever buy anything electronic from a third party retailer off Amazon. Cheapest Amazon direct price was £54.99. This is a good price considering the reviews unlike the las160b which is dreadful.

No sub is a deal breaker. Not great for music or movies. Would most likely be an improvement over TV speakers though.

Its because they're wasting time curving screens so only one person can have an amazing viewing experience.
