purchased one from Sheffield Birley Road express (loads available in that store), not sure if it's a country-wide deal.
never tried this one before, but excellent reviews @ whiskey exchange. worth trying @ this price.
receipt available upon request.

Still £35 on website so presume it is a store specific deal - brilliant price for those who get it - heat added!

It'll put hairs on your chest, very peaty. I like it, I'll check my local Tescos later as i am there anyway, but i won't be holding my breath.

I think any single malt under £20 is a good deal these days and you're buying an established top quality Islay here, so I don't think you can go wrong. Some people don't like the peat flavour which comes with Islay, having said that.

it is an acquired taste ie not very malty..read this from their website.... Laphroaig – pronounced La-froyg – is one of the most divisive Scotch whiskies, loved by those who enjoy its medicinal, smoky flavour and looked on in amazement by those who don't, it remains one of the most popular. Laphroaig distillery sits on the south coast of Islay, the first of the three Kildalton distilleries.
