It'll put hairs on your chest, very peaty. I like it, I'll check my local Tescos later as i am there anyway, but i won't be holding my breath.

I think any single malt under £20 is a good deal these days and you're buying an established top quality Islay here, so I don't think you can go wrong. Some people don't like the peat flavour which comes with Islay, having said that.

it is an acquired taste ie not very malty..read this from their website.... There was a post a couple of weeks ago, suggesting Lagavulin was half price along with Ardbeg.
Proved to be usual goose chase though, as I suspect this will be.
Best price I can currently find for Lagavulin 16, is at Costco for pennies short of £40.

They did have the laga and Ardbeg half price in my tesco. Not the laproaig though unfortunately.
