20% account credit back in April if you buy a computer over £349 and select to buy now pay later (over 104 weeks - be careful to read the offer precisely on their site and select the right option) but must repay in the first 12 months or you'll get charged v high interest. You can only select this option if you have enough account credit limit to do so (have to have a high credit limit as they add the potential interest on when calculating if to let you order).
£749 with 12 months interest free
There's a 10% code off KNVYF for first time customers which brings the price down to 749, plus you can pay over 12 months interest free. As a new customer I got a 750 credit limit so went this route. Frustrating but still a good deal.

Mine has turned up. Very pleased with it so far. Beautiful screen and nice comfortable keyboard. I haven't tried any games out on it yet but so far so good.

Worth saying I struggled to find these specs elsewhere at any where near this price. Very were doing i5 and i7 gaming Dells for similar but their screen is apparently really low quality and they were just SSD without the HD storage plus only a crappy Radeon 445 card unless you went for the 7000 models.
This seemed to have it all - quality IPS screen, good GPU (albeit 2gb rather than 4gb), 7th gen processor. Very are doing it at £829 with 10% credit back if you BNPL but they wouldn't offer me the 12 months for some reason so couldn't get the credit back.
What I really wanted was the ax002 which is the next step up with a i7-6700HQ. Very had that reduced to £899 which with 10% account credit would have been a bargain. Littlewoods had it at £999 with 20% account credit (so £799 overall) but my credit limit wasn't big enough for the "hypothetical" £1400 including interest. I phoned customer services and offered to pay a deposit but they wanted £750 up front to do it like that just so I could get the 20% off. Phsssk.
So worth fiddling with Very and Littlewoods to see which one offers you the right deals to get the right package at the best price. If you have the account credit to get the az002na for effective £799 with not having to pay anything for 12 months, I'd JUMP at that ..

Surely if they offered you 20% off paying 750 up front was a steal? £800 overall. Not good if you can't afford it, but then if you can't afford that then I wouldn't want to buy on credit anyway as you should always have about 1K laying around at least in case you need it.

Excellent price! Voted hot. Hopefully this is a sign that prices of 1050 laptops is set to fall in the months to come.

Heat.
In the market for a new laptop and have my eye on the 15-ax206na (similar specs but has an i7 and 4gb 1050ti). Only available direct from HP for £999 so far so waiting for it to become available from other retailers and see what deals they can offer first.

Yeah I know but I didn't like the idea of paying £750 up front, then having £750 showing as outstanding on my account, the having £200 credit applied then having to get a refund for £150 overpayment etc...too much faff even for this bargain hunter. I decided I didn't need the i7 model anyway as I'm not a gamer anymore - will mostly do photo editing on it.
Wanted to explain the option though to others who would want to play around with the discount options and do that.

Nope you can't use the 20% off in conjunction with the other offer so don't fret.
