I'm in the market for a new TV (after foolishly agreeing to give my daughter my Panny Plasma when she moves house) and thought this looked like a good deal.

Yet again the Vestel 50"-ish 4K UHD TV that has always been £300 wherever it's sold is posted at £300.
This is not a deal, it's the normal price for this TV. Anyone voting hot simply does not know the price of these and is being tricked into thinking Wow UHD for £300... but that's always the price of this TV!
It was £230 on Amazon not that long ago, now that was a good price if you want a low build quality TV with suspect quality assurance processes.

Was £229 from Amazon, but this now seems to be around the normal price for this and other Vestel tvs with various badges like hitachi, polaroid etc. My tv had to be replaced as it had a software problem. If you look at Amazon for reviews for this, they are mostly 5* and 1*, really good or very bad. Apps are very limited as well, but if it suits its a lot cheaper than your sonys etc if your on a budget or a bedroom tv.

Got this last month for £229 on Amazon, replacing my plasma. Great picture, but sound poor, so you'll need a sound bar as well.
