Walk in, pick up fryer, put a pound on the counter, remind them the shop is called Poundland and not "Seventeen Pound Fifty Land" and walk out :smirk:

My issue is that for years Poundland advertised that every item was a pound, then they started selling higher priced items from behind the tills, but now they are making their way amongst the pound items. Most people are not so stupid to think that a 55 inch TV is going to cost £1,but when they put (for example) a box of Maltesers worth £2 amounts £1 items,a good number of people could be mistaken to think it's a £1 item as it's not massively cheap.
They should just have a section for everything over £1 to stop confusion,so shoppers can just grab an item without having to check that it may cost more.
