The output is shared between both USB ports so in reality you can only use one port at a time. Caused us nothing but problems at home when the kids keep plugging a second device in,, pay a bit more and get higher rated outputs

my iPhone 6 came with a 1A charger..... so sharing 2.1A shouldn't really be a problem

You can't even plug plug 2 iPhones in them,, if you will only ever use one output they are fine.. but try to Charge 2 iPhones and they won't even trickle charge one. I have already replaced similar ones I bought last year for higher rated outputs... you get what you pay for comes to mind

Charges both my wife's and my own iPhone at the same time without a problem.
