Amazing Card, at an Amazing price. It's sold by Amazon and I doubt it will be that price for much longer. cheapest 1070 I've seen, and it's Asus!

Gonna wait until after tonight's Ti announcement to see if there are drops on any other cards, if not I think I'm gonna have to pick this up tomorrow. It's time.

I would hold off till tomorrow at least see what NVIDIA announces at GDC they have announcement at 3AM (1st).
If they release ti version of the 1080 prices will drop.

That all depends on UK 1080Ti pricing. If it's £800+, which is possible given NV's total domination in the high end GPU market in combination with the weak £, 1080 and 1070 prices could stay pretty static.
If 1080 prices are anything to go by, the 1080Ti isn't going to be (relatively...) well priced, like the 980Ti was.
I guess we'll find out in a few hours...

this or a used 970 for £179.. man... hard to justify over £300 for a graphics card, I actually think I'd prefer just to play on my ps4 pro that I got for 279.....

Would a new RX480 be a better option than a used GTX 970? I think that's where my money would be going at that kind of price point.
A used 970 could have lived a fairly long, hard life by now; they were first released in late 2014.
