Some pretty mixed reviews - which I find unusual for Anker gear - it's normally pretty bulletproof.
Can anyone recommend any cheap 6ft single cables - I really don't need 2 of these.

There are loads on eBay, just search for '3m micro usb cable' and filter for uk only, lots are around £2-£3 incl postage. Pick the type you want and have a punt. I bought a braided style one before christmas and it's been ok. The clip pins got a bit loose but a needle rebent them out. Not fantastic charging speed but it was mostly for the car so it can power things in the back seats from the front 12v socket.
for most of my cables need. They are excellent to deal with.

I've had a few of these. The micro USB end comes loose eventually and won't make contact when it's in a device. Had to claim on 3 under warranty. Apparently they have fixed the issue in the more expensive version.

Thanks, but really not what I'm looking for - I don't want a random ebay cheapie that may or may not work, I've had those before and they were a waste of time and money. What I'm looking for is a decent cable that will charge at a solid speed and not throttle the charger that someone has bought and can recommend.
