Nice little box for the price, OS not included so put Linux or a cheap Windows licence on it. Far more capable than a Pi for not a lot more money once you get all the bits.
RAM upgradable, disk not, but can take SD cards.
HDMI and Displayport, 3 USB 3.0 ports, Ethernet and wireless on board.
Added bonus, (wired) keyboard and mouse included!

I got one of these when they where £59.99 from Ebuyer around May 2016
I upgraded RAM to 8Gb and thought that'd do me
Even just opening a few browser pages then say Kodi then attempt some other program and it'll struggle
@ £60 it was a bargain and I'm OKish about everything
@ £100 it's a no from me and I would of returned it if I had purchased at that price

Yes, since a 2009~ kernel update, the first OS to support USB3.

I tried one of these, they're ok, but not silent for anyone thinking down that route.

Voted hot, but note that Amazon is selling the Gigabyte Brix BXBT-1900 (with J1900 CPU - about 2x performance of this). Albeit without RAM & SSD for the same price.
That might be more useful for those that require better performance and SATA storage.

I've had a really bad experience with one of these.
May have been an isolated incident so won't insist that they're all bad, just that i wouldn't touch another.
Ebuyer were great though when i had to return it.

Can Linux make use of USB 3? I like the idea of a little computer for backing up photos to a portable drive on the go.

Good if you like the form factor but this is basically a headless Atom tablet - it would be cheaper to get something like a Linx 10 (or equivalent) and plug everything into that. For £100 it's not a lot of spec but will be fine for some.
