I haven't really been keeping a eye on the price of this but I'm pretty sure it's the cheapest I've ever seen it, Looking at camelcamelcamel (I'm sure they could of chose a better name than that) it's the cheapest amazon have sold it for. It works out at £2.83~ a season not taking in to account the redemption movie included a steal in my book for a great series.

Wow...you managed to come out with every DVD deal cliche there is, all in one post! (can get it on Netflix, who buys DVDs?, you'll only watch once, etc..)
How about someone who doesn't have (or want) to pay for Netflix, but has a DVD player and hasn't seen this show before? There are literally dozens of examples where this set would appeal.
The "who buys DVDs anymore?" question is perhaps the most moronic. In answer to your question - almost 100 million DVDs were sold last year in the UK alone. Otherwise they wouldn't make them would they??! Bonehead

This is a great price and gives you autonomy over the online providers should they decide to remove it. This is a great show and I have watched it 3 times already. Best option is on Sky where you get digital and did but almost double the price here. Thanks for finding.

But why buy this dvd.. Been on Netflix for years and surely you can get it cheaper on ebay. Who even buys dvds anymore. Once you have watched 24 your not going to watch it again

I have this boxset and its great value. Its NOT on Netflix. I checked the other day as I wanted to avoid getting the discs out if i could. I rewatch the show almost every year because theres nothing quite like it. Along with SG-1, its one of my favourite 'old' shows (although i hear a new spinoff is due to premier soon).

Compare that to the price of a ticket to a Premier league football match, where you get 90 minutes and likely to pay more.

Each series is £1 (on DVD) in That's Entertainment. Classed as 'Replay' (ex rental / used), but if you're not bothered, it's a great price.

I am a 24 fan through and through, but season one is still the best of them all, it was cutting edge TV that had never been done before, with a real time clock and a twist NOBODY seen coming which is hard to do in TV these days!
Unfortunately they were never able to replicate the story and twists in future seasons they almost tried to hard, and things become insanely ludicrous in later episodes, but if you suspend disbelief the Jack Bauer power hour is some excellent fun TV!
