Bear in mind your light fittings are more likely to be bayonet than Edison, so you'll either need to buy some adaptors or change the fittings. You'll want B22 to E27 adaptors, and won't need to pay more than a couple of quid each for them.

You would think that, but what I found was my house was ES with the odd BC thrown in to confuse the hell out of you, this is known in the trade as "pain in the a$$"

Same price as Maplins and Argos if that's easier - oh and John Lewis
been looking for one, its such a good price, but feel it maybe be slightly cheaper soon.

I don't think Argos is free delivery unsure of Maplins and JL
I know JL would likely do a 2 year warranty but don't think Argos and Maplins would unless 2yr is the norm?

you can get the v1 hub with 2 bulbs for £35 ish from Luzern Tech. Mine are getting delivered this week. The v1 hub doesn't support apple/siri but is good with the Amazon echo.

I looked at the V1 but although there is no difference I wonder if I would regret buying the V1 over the V2 just to save £15 in the future - that said I cant find it on their website anyway.

Be a lot cheaper to just get up and walk to the light switch / dimmer.
