I've had one for a few years. Definitely worth the money although the remote control can play up as the battery doesn't get pushed in by the flap, unless they've improved it by now.

Bought this last time round. Took over ten days to deliver - wont buy from them again.
Speaker sound itself is great.
A word of warning when using with the Dot. Bluetooth pairs fine with it but i notice a slight delay when Echo is quiet and then answers a question so i always lose the first word or so as if the Bluetooth link needs time to wake up. Also tried using the aux input, but the speaker goes to sleep and needs powering up again - no good if you want the Dot ready to answer a question. In Bluetooth mode it doesn't sleep - odd. I also tried using the USB socket from the speaker to power the Dot but i got horrendous noise coming out. Anyway i have reverted back to Bluetooth and separate power for the Dot and put up with the odd missing word or two.

Thanks for that info, was going to purchase this as my current bluetooth soundbar misses many of Alexas first words. Would have been gutted to receive this only to find it does the same. Any idea why this is, and are there any bluetooth speakers that don't cut Alexa off in her prime. Thanks.

Thats a shame as I was going to buy this for the dot and using the USB to power it.
Ive found with all my bluetooth speakers the dot unpair's and needs re connecting all the time so I always use aux if this goes to sleep then ill have to give it a miss which is a shame as it looks ideal with usb output.
