Not really though, when you look at the requirements to actually display HDR properly. It's a bit of a lie. But all TV's do this.

fantastic TV for the price. got one myself when it was a £100 from richer sounds and it's superb. look at the forums on AV Forums for the best settings. blows my in laws 2.5k Sony out of the water!!!!

Also does anyone know the difference between the 55m7000 and 55m5500 ? The John Lewis website states exactly the same description. ( a lot of people are saying there is no YouTube and Netflix in HD available on the 7000 series) am thinking to order one of these but not sure which one to go for ( also the 5500 is about £100 cheaper) any help would be appreciated guys
