A strong requirement for overcocking.

Dam it... i know its only £20 cheaper but i bought this for £553 on Saturday. Im wondering if we are going to see an even lower price in a few weeks?

If you bought it from Amazon open a chat and ask them to refund the difference, I've done that a few times over the years. Actually once did it 3 times with the same item (1TB 850 Evo) over 2 weeks as the price kept dropping!

Why on earth is this card plummeting in price? EVGA cards have remained above £600, Have't seen cheap Asus card in a long time. What's going on?

Maybe sales are flagging in anticipation for 1080Ti?

After CES I've given up on the 1080Ti.
I'm very, VERY tempted to get this.

It's hardly one of the best, it's bottom-middle of the pack in terms of OOB performance.
Good price though.

Such a disappointment in design going from the sexy 980 Ti G1 to this design.
Agreed, I have the 1070 G1 Gaming and came from a 970 Gigabyte Xtreme. The G1 cards are very plasticy, but then I only care about the performance and noise level as I only saw the card putting it in the case, and never look through my unnecessary window at it.
