You're right, I spoke to them again giving it the usual crap about being a loyal customer etc..
They said policy has changed and the only way to do it is to send the item back and reorder... which I can't be bothered to do.

Especially as people get their accounts banned for having too many returns even if it is a faulty item.. Sneaky greedy amazon, multi billion pound company and they can't shell out the £25 difference for me.

I think they changed their policy on price drop refunds a while ago :disappointed:

Dam it... i know its only £20 cheaper but i bought this for £553 on Saturday. Im wondering if we are going to see an even lower price in a few weeks?

I've got the xtreme edition of this card and the cooler is excellent. Boosts to go 2GHZ out of the box, really quiet. This one isn't far off for the price.

I'm so tempted. is this better than the zotac amp extreme edition?

I much prefer the 980 too. Those red flash things? Awful.

It's hardly one of the best, it's bottom-middle of the pack in terms of OOB performance.

After CES I've given up on the 1080Ti.

I'm very, VERY tempted to get this.

Why on earth is this card plummeting in price? EVGA cards have remained above £600, Have't seen cheap Asus card in a long time. What's going on?
