Yep....the £295 MSI means I can't bring myself to pay anymore than that. May just skip this generation.

I own this product so will give small review: overclocks well if thats what you are into, or if run stock or adjusted fan curves it can be as quiet as a kitten. Performance is excellent, I game at 2160p and the majority of the games I actually play (as I tend to buy Triple A games a couple years after they come out e.g Witcher 3 and GTA V I bought this month, and rocket league/cities skylines and indie games) I can run either maxed out or dropping around to a custom high-mix. 4K60fps! It exists! :man: And it has all that proprietary **** that people love (Side note: I do wish it were compatible with Free-sync as that was my upgrade path for my monitor and G-Sync is ridic expensive) like shadowplay or whatever thats called now, and ungimped performance in Nvidia titles for the most part! It fits in my shoebox sized case (Coolermaster Elite 130) very nicely without thermal issues. Overall it's great as I can see it lasting me a couple years with probably dropping settings whilst true 4K GPUs came out, so anyone that plays at 1080p should get some nice hiiiiigh framerates in most titles!
I was quite lucky and bought it last August whilst in the U.S for $360. Still a pretty decent price for around here, but maybe some shops will start a nice price war over 1070s who knows

Ignore your friend. Televisions make terrible computer displays.

Indeed. Im finding it hard to order one after that under 300 MSI deal at Ebuyer a while ago though, this is getting closer.

Good price for sure. From what I know it's not the most popular though due to being a bit on the longer side and not the best looking. Still, inside a decent size case and if you (rightly) don't care about looks then it's a decent card.
These 1070s rarely seem to be under £350 except that odd £300 around New Year.

That sub 300 ebuyer card was a mistake, you won't see these accurately priced sub 300 until there's something better on the horizon..

To be fair, Currys were selling one for £360 last week. With easily available 8% off vouchers it was near £330 as well.

Damn I would have been quite tempted by this had I not bought something else this week.

Can anyone who has one comment on the noise levels of this? I was also looking at getting the Asus GeForce GTX 1070 Strix which has great reviews, but not much info on this Windforce card, how does it compare?
