I mean yes I know it is the base game but the price is fair for anyone who has never tried it before. It is currently £8 from CeX and £6.99 from GAME for the same condition.
From the creators of Halo and the publisher of Call of Duty, comes Destiny.Everything changed with the arrival of the Traveler. It sparked a Golden Age when our civilization spanned our solar system, but it didn’t last. Something hit us, knocked us down. The survivors built a city beneath the Traveler, and have begun to explore our old worlds, only to find them filled with deadly foes. You are a Guardian of the last safe city on Earth, able to wield incredible power. Defend the City. Defeat our enemies. Reclaim all that we have lost.

I can't agree the community is fantastic overall. There's a big portion of the community that's completely toxic

As someone that spent around a year never playing a different game I can't disagree more. If you have time to dedicate and fully embrace everything this game has to offer you will not find another experience like it on consoles.
Not to mention the community is fantastic and fully embraces new players from the off.

Like I say, I'm still trying. I'm sure they're both beautiful games, and I do love open world MMO-esque games like them. But I just for the life can not get into either.
Load it up and I'm all like...

You do realise this is just the base game, yes? It's also £8 from CeX and £6.99 from GAME in pretty much the same condition!
All jokes aside, this is probably all you'll need anyway. I have up to the Taken King on PS4 and Rise of the Iron on Xbox One, and they're all equally as boring as the base game, so you may as well spend pittance to find out
Heat added mate, second only to The Division in terms of a boring game (I'm still trying to like both, though)

I know what you mean mate. I was just joking. I played it for many hours too but then moved on... life moves on anyway. :stuck_out_tongue:

I used to play Destiny a lot before poor health put a stop to it and I never went back when I got better.
Anyway, it's a really good game of you have some good people to play with on a regular basis. But you do need to sink a lot of time into it, doing weeklies and raids. It can get a bit all consuming. Sometimes I do miss it, it was good fun. But on the flip side, t means I have time to play a lot more games.
