Went for the current HOT Argos offer, ordered the overdoor airer http://www.argos.co.uk/product/6144616? on of the 2 for £15. Got this freestanding airer for the same price. It had the wrong product code on it. Not a one off as someone else had commented that the same happened to them.

Yes, your comment is absolutely poor quality.
Joking aside, if you are going to comment you really should say why you think the item is poor quality and what experience you have had that led you to that conclusion. Otherwise your comment is just unhelpful and comes across quite rude. In my humble opinion.

Thanks Garbage 456, I thought maybe I hadn't made it clear enough. But for those who don't understand... You order the cheap one @ £12.99 (or 2 for £15 ) , you get the £24.99 one , a£12 saving (or 2@£24.99 for £15. £34.98 saving)

are over the door airers any good? would it not lead to mould/damp on the door over time?

we thought about the space saving aspect, but all airers put a small amount of moisture in the air, free standing our hung over door. But we got the other one - most happy!!

no, that's the way. You lift the central handle and it lifts and locks. Gives you extra hanging area on top.

Here's some constructive criticism; the holes in the cross-over joints are crimped slightly and break if you overload the driver. The tube is too thin for the product, but this is a common problem and the only clothes drier I have found at this price point with a better build quality is the IKEA MULIG drying rack. (£15)

I got this one today unexpectedly, I ordered the over door one on the 2 for £15 and picked this one up. I haven't used it but it's very easy to put up and down plus it will be easier to add and take off clothes.
