Went for the current HOT Argos offer, ordered the overdoor airer http://www.argos.co.uk/product/6144616? on of the 2 for £15. Got this freestanding airer for the same price. It had the wrong product code on it. Not a one off as someone else had commented that the same happened to them.
More... If you order this, all the details are for the wrong one. e mail confirmation, images etc, but (all being well) you will get the one shown.

Yes, your comment is absolutely poor quality.
Joking aside, if you are going to comment you really should say why you think the item is poor quality and what experience you have had that led you to that conclusion. Otherwise your comment is just unhelpful and comes across quite rude. In my humble opinion.

Thanks will give this a try. I don't want the over door airer but I could return it if that is what I get.

Any 2 of the 2 for £15 items. make the total to £25+, so 4 items. Example. 4@ £12 in 2 for £15 = £30. 25% discount on the £48 = £12. So works out £18 for 4 of the 2 for £15. Unfortunately, they have fixed this now.So just the standard discount.:disappointed:
I ordered one of the over door airers and they gave me the better one.

A bit late with the question on this but how did this work? Did you order two of the over door airers or just one of them and a different item in the 2 for £15 offer.
Thanks OP for this post as I've reserved x 2 toilet seats to pick up tomorrow. £12.99 each and got them in the 2 for £15 offer.

I've got one outside waiting for the binmen, they are crap, even a 7.99 one from Poundstretcher is better than this.
oh and the IKEA MULIG drying rack, brilliant for towels etc

Yes I wondered about the durability of some of the cheaper airers and thought minky might be the one to go for? Just because of the Name as I've seen so many broken ones left outside people's houses

My daughter broke 3-4 clothes airers through overloading them then bought the Ikea Mulig, it's still as good as new after 12 months.

This may be a substitute if the store has run out of the HOT offer - didn't we have something similar with the steam mop?

I got this one today unexpectedly, I ordered the over door one on the 2 for £15 and picked this one up. I haven't used it but it's very easy to put up and down plus it will be easier to add and take off clothes.

Here's some constructive criticism; the holes in the cross-over joints are crimped slightly and break if you overload the driver. The tube is too thin for the product, but this is a common problem and the only clothes drier I have found at this price point with a better build quality is the IKEA MULIG drying rack. (£15)

no, that's the way. You lift the central handle and it lifts and locks. Gives you extra hanging area on top.

are over the door airers any good? would it not lead to mould/damp on the door over time?

we thought about the space saving aspect, but all airers put a small amount of moisture in the air, free standing our hung over door. But we got the other one - most happy!!

Thanks Garbage 456, I thought maybe I hadn't made it clear enough. But for those who don't understand... You order the cheap one @ £12.99 (or 2 for £15 ) , you get the £24.99 one , a£12 saving (or 2@£24.99 for £15. £34.98 saving)
