Just spotted this on Twitter and ran a recent purchase through it, its worth using if you have bought a second hand phone or plan on selling one on eBay.
Not sure whether or not to believe. I've had an insurance claim on one of my devices and it doesn't show this in the report! lol

Subject to an insurance claim?

I honestly don't get the point of these. They don't tell you anything meaningful - it can't tell you that a device is subject to an insurance contract for example. The only thing it will tell you is that a device was subject to an insurance claim AFTER it gets blocked.
It's all just utterly pointless IMO, unless you want to clarify that your device is definitely blocked. It certainly won't tell you if a device you're buying is from a credible source - it doesn't even tell you if it's a contract or PAYG device.

Not even the bit that says contract status?

But why would you be checking a blocked phone?
