RAM prices are set to rise even higher, so I'd grab this while you can. 16GB is pushing £90+ so this is a bargain... assuming Amazon don't cancel like they seem to love doing with memory lately!

Very slow DDR4 RAM, almost bottom end. This isn't cheap either, it's; just as cheap elsewhere.

Slow? There's barely any difference between this and 3200mhz in actual gaming benchmarks, we're talking like 1 fps. High ram speed is just for e-peen claims.
And could you provide links to 16gb 2400mhz ddr4 ram for this price? Or are you still living in summer '16?

good deal. My only negative on this is that its 4 sticks of 4gb. Would be nice if it was 2x 8gb sticks.
I dont need ram but great price.

Probably his first time online since June.
I'm anticipating his return so I can see links to this being the normal price. Will stock up from those sites and re-sell then as I wouldn't be surprised if 16GB reaches ~£100 over the next few months... it's not far from that now and supply is set to dwindle even more :confused:

Mobile phone manufacturers are buying the chips faster than they can be made, so this is causing the prices to keep rising. Its expected to keep going up before stabilising in the second half of 2017...
the chips aren't such but the processing capacity is being switched to flash nand production .. you can make a wafer into nand or ram but not both :stuck_out_tongue:
