RAM prices are set to rise even higher, so I'd grab this while you can. 16GB is pushing £90+ so this is a bargain... assuming Amazon don't cancel like they seem to love doing with memory lately!
Speeds start at 2400 MT/s
Faster speeds and responsiveness than standard Crucial DDR4 memory
Ideal for gamers and performance enthusiasts
Four channel memory arch itecture maximizes data rates
Digital camo heat spreader available in white, gray and red

Faster ram makes a difference on slower cpu's. Overclock and the difference becomes about 1-2 frames. I know I'd rather spend the difference on a faster, unlocked processor.

Yeah, Amazon cancelled my previous RAM order ... and after waiting 4 weeks for it too!

that what i alway hear about Ram, but what about this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Er_Fuz54U0Y
there is other video on Ram comparision by digitalfoundry and i when around the web looking at Ram benchmark, seems a pretty significant different to me(4-8 FPS)

Just ordered one. There is not much difference between 2400 and 3200 Mhz variants. Higher the frequency higher is the cas timing. End result would be more or less same with 1-2 fps difference between the two in gaming performance at the most.

Great deal for someone who is just upgrading an older cpu to a ddr4 platform and is more concerned about money than epean.
As another posted said the only downside is 4 x 4gb doesn't leave an upgrade path if that's important to you.

GTX 1080, 6700K @ 4.4Ghz, 16GB DDR4 2400Mhz ... I'm loving my Ultra settings in BF1 at 100 fps and 3440x1440  Not sure how I can sleep knowing I could have gotten an extra 2 frames per second if I'd forked out an extra £40 for 3200Mhz

Buy it then and enjoy your slow RAM.

the chips aren't such but the processing capacity is being switched to flash nand production .. you can make a wafer into nand or ram but not both :stuck_out_tongue:

Mobile phone manufacturers are buying the chips faster than they can be made, so this is causing the prices to keep rising. Its expected to keep going up before stabilising in the second half of 2017...
Heat added , dunno what on earth ritchiedrama is talking about , maybe he's looking at ddr2 ram

Probably his first time online since June.
I'm anticipating his return so I can see links to this being the normal price. Will stock up from those sites and re-sell then as I wouldn't be surprised if 16GB reaches ~£100 over the next few months... it's not far from that now and supply is set to dwindle even more

Very slow DDR4 RAM, almost bottom end. This isn't cheap either, it's; just as cheap elsewhere.

Slow? There's barely any difference between this and 3200mhz in actual gaming benchmarks, we're talking like 1 fps. High ram speed is just for e-peen claims.
And could you provide links to 16gb 2400mhz ddr4 ram for this price? Or are you still living in summer '16?

good deal. My only negative on this is that its 4 sticks of 4gb. Would be nice if it was 2x 8gb sticks.
