No. Amazon pay all of the tax that the law requires them to. If they paid more then their shareholders would sue them. The real problem here is with the tax laws that our politicians are responsible for - in this case responsible for giving responsibility for tax domicile law to the EU, which is why Amazon is domiciled there for tax purposes. This will change of course once our politicians are once more responsible for our laws - politicians who we can throw out if they don't act in our interests. Furthermore, Amazon invest so much in building infrastructure that their profits are minimal - you can't tax profits that don't exist. I hope these common facts help inform you better.
so I wonder if you can use Amazon uk purchased gift/vouchers for purchasing , as in the past Amazon.com didn't allow that?

I don't think there actually is a global 'store' you just shop in whatever department your looking for and on the left hand side there's an option for global store items
