One end near your wireless router and other end anywhere else in the house. Possibly for smart TV or computer etc. Basically cable connection are always more reliable and faster than wireless.

Great price but also looking for a passthrough also. Heads up for anyone thinking of plugging these into a power bar, they don't work so well.

In my experience they need to be plugged straight into the wall and if you're doing anything latency sensitive you should avoid having them plugged in next to anything else, particularly anything power hungry. If you're short on outlets then a unit with pass through is your best bet.
