I think the OWNERS OF HUKD should buy it for you, you've posted 466 deals in ten years of membership, 46 deals per year! Think of the sale commission/links!

As I leave my pc on all the time for Plex anyway, this is just a steal to me.
It means I can play all my emulated games downstairs with the nipper! None of this modern rubbish with no point to completion. All about mario, banjo kazooie and pokemon snap!

Also worth noting the steam controller is £27.99 from GAME - difficult to find cheaper and just ordered one myself!

Anyone know how good this is at streaming 1080p??

It's really good so long as you have a decent network connection. I use it with some 1.2Gb Netgear powerline adapters and I get very good quality and very little artefacting.

It's very good with gigabit ethernet, in the stream link settings you have fast balanced or beautiful for steam settings

it's surprisingly good, works just as well on WiFi as it does on ethernet, BUT if you using a WiFi booster like an edimax or something, you will get some lag. so try to connect to the original WiFi. The quality of streaming is about 85% of what it would usually look like. you can use it any game, as long as you add it in your steam library, it doesn't have to be a steam game. I found that my new Xbox one controller only worked via a wire, but I think that's problem on my end.my ps3 controllers work wirelessly.

I stream at 1080p60 and it's bang on, use a wired network though so wireless may be different

Tempting - I suppose I can leave my laptop upstairs and play games off it just by connecting this to the telly?

You're saying modern gaming has no merit, that's totally absurd. You should try The Last of Us and Uncharted series of games as well as many others, for exemplary story based gaming which definitely have a point and were nigh on impossible to create in the vintage era. There's great games from all eras, however retro gaming is massively over rated.

How do you play emulated games on this? (Isn't it limited to what games steam offers).
