Tv companies are still on track to destroy themselves.
You can get a free Sky Q box, a £25 voucher from sky, and £121 cashback through topcashback.co.uk if a new sky customer signs up foe the Original or Variety bundle. there is however a £14.99 setup fee, and it's a 12month contract.
The Sky Q Variety bundle is £21.40 per month before cashback and rhe voucher and works out at £9.25 per month after!
With the cashback and the £25 gift card taken into consideration, the Original bundle works our at just £1.23 per month! Great if you just want a few select sky channels and a tv recorder.

It's sad but I have to threaten to leave every year with Virgin and Sky. Last year I went for the complete package with Virgin but I just HATE the remote and the tv guide. Plus it's slow as anything right now. Il just negotiate a reduced broadband deals and get Sky TV again.

Virgin will be billing you soon enough for not returning the Tivo box.

Great deal - Just remember Sky now loan out the boxes so it isn't yours to keep at the end of the 12 month contract.

It's always be I think technically they have always done this, but I've never had any of the 10 or so boxes returned. I'm sure they will for these as they are so new and no doubt expensive.
It's a real shame as I made huge use of my 2TB hard drive from my old Sky box. I got it free and it made sky free for a year as I had a new hard drive planned for my pc anyway so saved that cost.
Never mind, il be breaking my Tivo box apart soon enough to get another 1tb drive

they also have a sky q department who repeatedly tell you that they own the box so will probably end up being a bad thing instead of a good thing knowing sky anything to screw over the customers

Yes, Sky use it as a positive by saying if there are any faults with the box you don't have to pay for an engineer anymore because you don't own the box yourself, but it will certainly stop those cancelling after 12 months and using it for the free channels.
Still a great deal though for £1.23 per month though

Keeping the box isn't part of the deal anyway, it's just an added benefit if you get to keep it.

I'm not sure if I'm missing something? Can you explain how you're getting the original bundle for £1.23 pm? I understand the cashback but how are you getting the original bundle so cheap?
Thanks.

Sure!
On topcashback, it shows the £121 cashback if you do the 33% off tv bundles and £25 reward offer.
So it's £13.40 on the sky website. So during the 12monrh contract it costs £160.80.
You take away the £25 gift card sky gives you, and the £121 cashback you get, and it leaves you with a year total of £14.80. ÷12 and it's £1.23 per month average.

Deal header is missing the 33% off. I was confused too! Heat though.
