HD-ready on a 32" screen is of no consequence in typical domestic TV applications (comfortable viewing distance); only becomes not ideal when used in near-field applications such as PC monitor. Would be more interested in picture quality rather than resolution, and UMC usually manufacture TVs with acceptable PQ for Sharp.

Not voted either way, but £149 for a 32" TV seems like a load of money when you consider some of the deals for 40"+ sized TV's. I get that not everyone has the space for a larger TV or bedroom TV, I'm currently in the same position myself looking for 32" TV for the bedroom, but was hoping to get one closer to the £100 mark, but not much choice out there :disappointed:

The Axminster Tesco store still has this Sharp 32 HD Ready LED TV for £119. Seems to be worth looking out for if you're in the market for a TV like this.

I saw a Sharp 32" for £119 in Enfield on Tuesday though I don't know what model/spec it was. pretty decent for the money though as I've mentioned previously it's basically the same as a non-brand make as Sharp do not design/manufacture TVs anymore, its just a brand licence.
